We have all been confronted with sickness in our bodies, as well as, sickness in our families. We struggle with knowing what to do in these trying times.
Do you believe in Faith Based Healing? Does this mean we shouldn’t seek a physician’s care when we are ill?
Talk to me…..what do you think? What does the bible say about this?

We should seek God for healing and use whatever resources He has supplied to facilitate that healing. If you have a headache, and God has supplied an Advil and 30 minutes to slow down and take a nap, then we should ask God for healing, thank Him for it, take the Advil, and take the nap! For more serious issues, we should do the same – seek God, give Him thanks, and use whatever means He supplies for our healing.

I believe God has called and equipped people for various tasks. Doctors and nurses are skilled and essential workers whom God utilizes daily. God is our ultimate Physician and through prayer and understanding, we should trust His guidance and His promises. God works through people the same today as He did with His disciples. I’m grateful for skilled doctors and nurses who allow Him to work through them for healings and cures.

You just told us what is impossible with man is possible with God. So my first Dr. Visit is with God. My physician Dr. x, y or z will be guided by God. I will receive my healing by faith, Isaiah 53:4&5. Man & his medicine will never take the place of your faith in God’s word.
