As soon as we think things are going well, we get comfortable and stop seeking the Lord as we should. We start to believe that we can do it all. That’s a tactic of the devil. He wants you to forget who is keeping you and where your help comes from. Remember this, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” 1 Peter 5:8

Never surrender to the lies of the enemy, we are not self-sufficient, we need Jesus.
