Have you ever wondered where you would be without God’s hands of mercy or if God didn’t provide all the things you need to live this life daily? I know there are times when I take for granted the small things that happen on a daily basis for me. It takes a deeper study to really understand and know, “that if it had not been for the Lord on my side, where would I be”.

In all reality, what we think are ordinary days, aren’t ordinary at all. God’s miraculous hand provides for us every morning when we rise and we see one more day. Throughout the day and through the night, our Help provides for us a roof over our heads and meals at least three times a day. He brings and keeps us on our toes at the job and when we have a chance to relax and enjoy ourselves, He’s right there.  Every day, all day, God is constantly providing and sustaining. Our Amazing God is found in the usual moments of the day. The elderly use to say, “He kept me from seen and unseen dangers.” Oh, if we only knew all the things that God has kept us from!

We should be in awe of God’s incredible creation and how things work just the way He designed them to.  Let’s be for real; just breathing, walking and talking are gifts from God.  We did nothing to earn them, but thank God for His mercy.

It is the summation of this thought that we are kept by the hands of God.  There is no other that can or will take care of us like the Almighty God. What a mighty God we serve!
