Have you ever wondered why a name is so important? Well, the bible tells us, “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.” Proverbs 22:1

But the name I want to reference today is the name of Jehovah, God our Father!

God is called by so many names and those names represent the best of all we could ever imagine. He has the answers to all our questions and an endless supply of everything we could ever need.

Let’s just mention a few of His names:

    El Shaddai (Lord God Almighty)

    Jehovah Jireh (The Lord Will Provide)

    Jehovah Rapha (The Lord Who Heals You)

    Jehovah Nissi (The Lord Is My Banner)

    Jehovah Mekoddishkem (The Lord Who Sanctifies You)

    Jehovah Shalom (The Lord Is Peace)

    Jehovah Sabaoth (The Lord of Hosts)

    Jehovah Raah (The Lord Is My Shepherd)

    Jehovah Tsidkenu (The Lord Our Righteousness)

    Jehovah Shammah (The Lord Is There)

His name has power, Call Him Up and tell Him what you want!
