When bad news comes, we are presented with a choice. We can give it to God first, with a heart full of trust; or we can give it everything we have in our own strength and fail! Yes, it’s true, letting go is difficult, but as we surrender to God, His peace will bring comfort during the time of uncertainty. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3
