You have heard the saying, “Your children are a gift from God.” Well, I agree.

James 1:17 tells us, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” Our children are a symbol of God’s favor towards us. There is a saying, “If we don’t teach our children to follow Christ, the world will teach them not to.” God has entrusted that awesome responsibility of rearing them in His Word to the parents. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Psalm 22:6

Deuteronomy 11:19 says, “And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”

The fruits of the womb are a blessing that we cannot begin to be describe. All children are a blessing from God and should be treated as the precious jewels they are.  Let no one say differently, all children have a purpose and were created for praise.  God is our Heavenly Father and as He created us and cares for us, we should do the same for our children. As He has given our children to us, we must give them back to Him!

“Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.” Psalm 127:3-5
